Softbooq

Right of Withdrawal

Last updated: September 2026

Softbooq grants a 14-day right of withdrawal to every customer, whether or not you are legally a consumer. You do not have to prove anything about your business in order to use it.

1. Who this applies to

Everyone who subscribes to Softbooq. Under EU law this right belongs to consumers, and someone acting in the course of a trade, business or profession is normally a trader rather than a consumer. Drawing that line would mean asking you to prove which one you are, and we do not want to do that. You do not need a registered company, a trade licence, a VAT number or a business bank account to use Softbooq. Sole proprietors, freelancers and people trading under their own name are welcome, and in much of the world they are the majority of small businesses. None of that affects this right: we grant it to every customer on the same terms, and we will not ask you to establish your status in order to exercise it. Where your local law gives you more than this, your local law applies. Nothing here reduces a right you already have.

2. Your right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which the contract is concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us: Everbright & Co. c/o Postflex #10549 Emsdettener Str. 10 48268 Greven Germany [email protected] by means of a clear statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

3. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

4. If you asked us to start during the withdrawal period

If you requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you communicated your withdrawal, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract. In practice this rarely costs anything. Every Softbooq plan begins with a free trial, so the 14-day withdrawal period falls inside a period you have not paid for. If you withdraw during the trial there is nothing to refund and nothing to pay.

5. Cancelling at any other time

The right of withdrawal is separate from ordinary cancellation, and you do not need it in order to leave. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. See the Cancellation and Refunds section of our Terms of Service.

6. Model withdrawal form

Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. You are not required to use it: any clear statement will do.
